This is understandable when one realises that the PCB market in Germany is a sector of the electronics industry that continues to grow and that, according to current industry data, the market is experiencing increasing demand for high-quality PCBs for applications primarily in the automotive, medical, aerospace and information and communication technology sectors.
Demand for PCBs and SMD assembly confirms further digitalisation
The top five largest increases in product searches compared to the same period last year are for engineering services at 124.8 per cent, PCB assembly at 104.3 per cent, customs clearance topics at 93 per cent, SMD assembly at 93.3 per cent and water treatment equipment at 85 per cent.
Quite interesting is that, compared to the same period last year, the US and China are sending more queries and Poland, the Netherlands and Turkey are receiving more queries. In terms of countries receiving the most quotation requests, there has been a positive development for the Netherlands, Poland and Turkey, while Russia and Belgium have received fewer quotation requests.
